In North Richland Hills, garden centers are busiest on spring weekends, when new stock arrives and popular plants sell out; weekday mornings are calmer and staff have more time to answer questions. Ask which plants are hardy for your USDA zone in Texas, whether trees and shrubs carry a replacement guarantee (one year is common), and whether the nursery delivers and plants large items. Fall is the best planting season for many trees and perennials, and end-of-season sales are common. Many nurseries close or shorten hours in winter, so check the listing for current hours and Google rating before you go.

North Richland Hills is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and North Richland Hills follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

My family is new to Texas, and I had to give away all of my indoor plants before relocating, so finding Tropical Greenery was such a wonderful experience! From the moment my kids and I walked in, we were warmly welcomed. I was so impressed by the incredible variety and quality of plants, especially at such fair prices. The employees were knowledgeable and genuinely helpful, helping me find exactly what I was looking for. Their expertise was so appreciated—it was clear they knew their plants, but they were never stuffy or condescending. They went above and beyond with the little details, too. They carefully wrapped each plant, and even helped style two colorful pots for my daughters, who couldn't resist getting in on the fun. They then carefully placed everything in my vehicle and even held the door for me as I got in. I've honestly never experienced customer service quite like this. Everyone was kind, knowledgeable, attentive, and truly seemed to care about their customers. I'm already looking forward to my next trip to Tropical Greenery to bring home even more plants! Highly recommend! 🌿💚

We visited this garden center looking for plants to refresh our backyard landscaping, and we ended up spending nearly two hours browsing because there was so much variety available. The plants looked healthy and well-cared for, and the layout made it easy to explore different sections without feeling crowded. Employees throughout the nursery were friendly and offered genuinely helpful advice about sunlight, watering schedules, and seasonal maintenance. Compared to buying plants from large hardware stores, the quality here felt noticeably better overall. We left with flowers, shrubs, herbs, and even a few decorative pots that completely brightened our outdoor space.

I love this place. The owners who are brothers have always gone above and beyond. My dad always took my as a child and im a grown adult now and these guys never fail to always be 100 percent respectful, courteous, kind, honest and helpful. They will take time to show and explain things to you if you have questions. Such a wonderful place. Highly recommend.

It is such a good day to visit tropical greenery. Greer Phillips helped me to pick out the right plants for my kitchen and gave me some very good tips on how to pot them correctly. He went one step further and even potted the plant for me. The service at this store is above and beyond and I highly recommend tropical greenery.

Love the care they show their guest. I was greeted and welcomed when I walked in. Their plant selection was great, love the floor layout. Plants are full and healthy, good range from small to large. Check-out was quick, they walked my new plants to my car for me and even opened my car door for me. Top Tier service and plants. When I'm ready for some more new plant babies, I will be back.
